Legal collection
When amicable collection fails or the debtor stays silent despite the formal notice, legal action takes over. For an undisputed B2B debt, the injonction de payer (payment order) is the fastest and cheapest procedure: a request filed with the competent court, which can issue an order without a hearing if the file (invoices, purchase orders, formal notice) is complete.
If the debtor disputes the debt or the case is more complex, a full lawsuit (assignation au fond) becomes necessary — a longer procedure, with a contested hearing before the court.
